Apples Rule the Land

Do these men have any brains?
Or Everything has been washed away by the rains?

They know not that the world belongs to the future
And fight for it and put everyone under torture

The hindus and muslims continue to fight
Without understanding that they are not right

They look for every opportunity to kill the others
Not knowing that they are also their own brothers

They dont realize that unity is happiness
But divide themselves and remain in darkness

An apple, seeing all the commotion said
"These men will soon be dead and their coffins laid
Then we apples will become the best
And lead the rest"

Its friend had a doubt...

"I agree to the world being led,
But by which apple - the green or the red?"

This is my first attempt to write, written long back and i still feel the pride that i felt when it was published in my school's annual magazine :-)
